Every engagement is directed by James Rhodes, Embark's founder and lead AI design engineer, who spent a decade leading design for global brands, including as an Art Director at adidas. Design and build are handled by a small team of AI design engineers. No junior handoffs and no account managers in the middle.

What is the relationship between Embark and Oryn?

Embark provides human strategy, creative direction, brand design, website design, product design, and development. Oryn is our own AI platform. After Embark designs your site, we onboard your team to Oryn so you can manage and evolve the website and brand by asking. Embark remains available as an ongoing partner when you need people. Oryn also works on its own with compatible existing websites, no Embark project required.

How much does a website cost?

A Signature Website starts at $9,500 and Custom Website Systems start at $15,000. The project fee covers strategy, design, and development; a Signature Website includes the first month of Oryn, then the Oryn™ plan applies. Studio Partner, for ongoing design and development after launch, starts at $4,000 a month. For a smaller business, Oryn™ Launch builds 4 pages on Oryn™ for $2,500, live in about 10 business days. Every project is scoped and quoted after a short conversation; the project planner shows the starting range in two minutes.

How much does brand identity cost?

Brand Foundation starts at $5,000 and takes approximately two weeks, depending on feedback. It includes positioning, a complete logo system, colour and typography, practical guidelines, editable source files, two structured revision rounds, and Oryn Brand Mind setup. Combining brand and website work creates a more efficient engagement; a bundled scope is provided after discovery.

What does custom software cost?

Paid product discovery starts at $3,500 and produces scope, user journeys, feature priorities, a technical recommendation, a delivery roadmap, and a budget and timeline. Focused software builds typically begin at $25,000 and are quoted after discovery. The discovery fee can be credited toward an approved build where commercially appropriate.

Most Signature Website projects run 4 to 6 weeks. Custom Website Systems typically run 8 to 12 weeks depending on scope. Timelines are confirmed in the proposal and depend on timely feedback.

Do you offer free work up front?

We offer a free website audit: honest observations on SEO, hierarchy, performance, and conversion. Design and strategy work is scoped and paid, which is what keeps it senior.

What happens after my site goes live?

Signature Websites are hosted on Oryn, with the first month included, and there are two ways to keep going. The Oryn™ plan includes hosting and gives your team AI-powered website and brand management. The Oryn™ plan is from $199 a month billed yearly ($2,388 a year), or $250 monthly, at the founding rate for 25 founding seats (21 of 25 founding seats left), kept for as long as you stay subscribed. Regular pricing after the founding seats is $299 a month, or $249 a month billed yearly ($2,990 a year). Oryn™ + Care is $799 a month: the Oryn™ plan plus up to 3 hours of changes by Embark each month, on a 12 month term. Hours do not roll over from month to month.

What is Oryn?

Oryn is our own AI platform. After Embark designs your site, your team is onboarded to Oryn. It learns your brand, products, content, and design system, then lets your team update copy, replace imagery, create pages, and produce connected marketing assets in plain English, with responsive and publishing checks on every change. It also works with compatible existing websites. It is a separate platform subscription, included in Growth and Product partnerships.

Do you offer hosting on its own?

No. Hosting is part of Oryn. Signature Websites are hosted there, and a Custom Website System can run on it when the build is compatible. Oryn™ + Care includes it too.

What is an Embark partnership?

Accepted Answer

Reserved senior design and product capacity on a monthly plan. Creative Partner is $5,000/month, Growth Partner is $8,000/month with Oryn included, and Product Partner starts at $12,000/month for embedded product leadership. Active workstreams define how much runs at once, delivery runs on a weekly cadence, and development is included only where the agreed capacity says so.

What is the minimum commitment?
