The challenge
Her Studios is a five-time Reader's Choice award-winning salon known for color correction, extensions, and bridal work — but their existing site didn't reflect the calibre of work they ship every day. They needed a digital presence that felt as considered as their craft: editorial, empowering, and engineered to convert visitors into bookings.
Our approach
We led the project end-to-end — strategy, visual direction, web design, and a fully custom build on our Oryn backend. The site is positioned around their core message ("Confidence is Happiness"), structured to surface services, stylists, and bridal packages without friction, and engineered to load fast on mobile where the bulk of their bookings originate.
Web design
A clean, editorial design language that pairs the studio's warmth with the precision of a premium beauty brand. Serif typography for soul, sans-serif navigation for clarity, and full-bleed photography that places the work — not the chrome — at the center of every screen.
Team & founder experience
We built the team section as the emotional core of the site — interactive stylist cards open into a focused profile experience with bookable CTAs, and the founder story page introduces Cobie Durie with the same editorial pacing as a magazine feature. The goal: turn first-time visitors into clients who already feel they know the team.
Oryn build
The same custom Oryn backend powering Dealer Reserve — engineered for speed, easy content management for the Her Studios team, and a foundation that scales as they add stylists, services, and locations. No bloated CMS overhead, no third-party page builder lock-in.
